Zimbabwe teen safari: Victoria Falls, Mana Pools and Hwange in 10 days (9 nights)
A more active version for families with teenagers. Three nights in Victoria Falls cover the Falls, rafting or bungee if wanted, and river cruises. A light aircraft then flies to Mana Pools for three nights of canoeing on the Zambezi, boat trips and guided walks. The trip ends with three nights in Hwange, which is known for relaxed elephant herds. Because of age limits on walking and canoeing, the route suits older children better than young ones. Lake Kariba can replace Mana Pools for a gentler finish.
The route, stop by stop
1. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe · 3 nights
Three days for the Falls themselves plus the town's adventure activities, which teenagers tend to enjoy.

2. Mana Pools, Zimbabwe · 3 nights
River time by canoe and boat, plus game drives on the floodplain. This is the most adventurous stop of the trip.

3. Hwange, Zimbabwe · 3 nights
Big elephant herds at the pumped waterholes and night drives. The trip ends here, with easy flights back to Victoria Falls.
