A single-base beach break at Vilanculos on the Mozambique coast, the mainland gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. After arriving by air, the first afternoon is free to settle in by the bay. One full day goes on a boat trip out to the islands to snorkel and walk the dunes. The last day can be spent on a dhow sail or another marine outing. With one base and no road transfers once you land, the pace stays slow.
