The first six nights are in the Western Cape: four in Cape Town for the mountain, the peninsula and Robben Island, then two on a wine estate in the Cape Winelands, a short road transfer away. The second half is two different safaris reached by air. Three nights at Phinda in northern KwaZulu-Natal bring sand forest, wetland and river cruises, and three nights in the Timbavati beside Kruger bring off-road drives and guided walks.
