Cape Town coast and Sabi Sand in 8 days (7 nights)
Four nights in Cape Town open the trip: the cable car up the mountain, a full day down the peninsula to Cape Point and the penguin colony, a day among the wine estates inland, and afternoons free for the Atlantic beaches at Clifton or Camps Bay. A short domestic flight north then lands the trip in the Sabi Sand, where three nights buy six drives with trackers who work leopard territory daily. Only one internal flight, no long road transfers, and neither end of the trip feels rushed.
The route, stop by stop
1. Cape Town, South Africa · 4 nights
Four nights is the least that covers the mountain, the peninsula, a wine-estate day and still leaves beach time rather than a forced march between sights.

2. Sabi Sand, South Africa · 3 nights
Three nights means six drives, which is roughly the point at which leopard and the rest of the Big Five stop being a matter of luck on a single outing.
