Three nights in Cape Town, based on the Sea Point promenade, leave time for the Table Mountain cable car, the Bo-Kaap and evening walks along the seafront. A flight to Hoedspruit then leads to four nights at a lodge in the Thornybush Private Nature Reserve, which borders Kruger, with morning and evening game drives and bush walks. The trip ends with a flight from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg. Two bases and one internal flight keep packing to a minimum.
