Four nights in Cape Town leave time for Table Mountain, the penguins at Boulders Beach and a day in the Cape Winelands. A flight to Skukuza leads into three nights in the Sabi Sand, a private reserve that shares an unfenced border with Kruger, with morning and evening drives and guided walks. A road transfer north then moves to three nights in the Timbavati for more drives and walks. The flight home leaves from Hoedspruit, near the Timbavati. Splitting the bush time across two reserves adds variety to the game viewing.
