A family trip through three different regions of northern Botswana. It starts with two nights in a lodge inside Chobe National Park, reached by road from Kasane airport, with elephant herds along the river. A charter flight then takes the family to the Khwai Community Reserve for three nights in a lodge with solid-walled rooms instead of tents, which suits younger children. The last two nights are on the Kalahari salt pans for a completely different landscape. Every transfer after the first is a light-aircraft flight.
