A fly-in circuit across northern Botswana. It opens with two nights at a camp in the Okavango Delta, where outings are by mokoro and boat through the permanent channels. A helicopter or light aircraft then moves on to three nights on the Khwai River, a community concession on the edge of Moremi where night drives and walks are allowed. The last two nights are on the Chobe River near Kasane, with game drives in the national park and boat trips on the river. All transfers between stops are by air.

The route, stop by stop

1. Okavango, Botswana · 2 nights

Arrive by fly — Light aircraft from Maun into the Delta

A start on the water. Mokoro and motorboat outings reach parts of the permanent Delta that vehicles cannot.

2. Khwai, Botswana · 3 nights

Arrive by fly — Short light aircraft or helicopter hop east to the Khwai River

The concession borders Moremi but has its own rules, so night drives, walks and off-road tracking are allowed. Three nights leaves time to try each.
